Most likely a GTR swap. The 1.8 makes way more torque before getting into boost, which is exactly what this car needs. It already loves sliding around sideways in gravel though.
That's not bad at all when you think about it. Hell my new standalone is that much

Ripped the Tokico Dirtra suspension out tonight. My new Pedders GSR struts and CorkSport lowering springs are on their way. Then I just need new front upper strut mounts and an alignment and she'll be back on the road.
BTW, these springs are progressive rate. Is it possible to cut off the softer coil(s) to make the springs a bit stiffer?

Got the temporary new suspension thrown on this morning. It made a big difference in the ride height, but the "low" stance is about what the Pro's stock stance was.

Got my BPT engine/trans swap in today. Hopefully it will be in and ready to go for next year's first road meet.

Similar to what I described the GTR engine as earlier in the thread, but the turbo is smaller and uses brass bushings instead of ball bearings, and the rods aren't as beefy. Also, no sodium filled exhaust valves. I can still run well over 20psi safely on the stock bottom end, but that will require a larger turbo. With bigger injectors and a 60 trim T3 turbo I'm hoping for about 300 awhp.

It's a JDM imported engine from a 1990-1992 323 GTX. It's may more hp stock than the B6T in the car now, but not as much hp as a GTR swap. Still a decent enough motor to have fun with though.

I'll put a new clutch in before it goes in the car. My only problem is this; the jdm clutch can't be had in the states because this flywheel was never used over here, and the GTX clutch is nearly impossible to find unless I want to stay with an oe replacement.

Don't get me wrong it looks great! but 2- 2 1/2 more inches of drop would look sick, i don't wanna hear about clearance just roll the fenders!

More lowers messes up the roll canter. I'd also have to have coilovers to go lower, and I don't have the extra $1200.

Looks good, but the wheels are way too big for me. I think 16 is the perfect size for the car.
