Well since you are changing your spark plugs you should throw in the Cobb SF Intake, and silicone elbow. Since you have to pull the battery, washer fluid bottle and the airbox to change the plugs

K&N drop in filter will work just as well as an aftermarket intake, if not better. I helped my old roommate do a ton of research on this for his 07 wrx.

From what I've read, I'm not going to gain anything from an intake as long as I have the stock turbo.  The stock intake is more than adequate.  I'll probably get a decent drop-in filter just for the sake of changing it.

In that case.. OCD protip:

Use an old claybar to get the chunks of tar off the inside of the barrel. Then wax. Lasts a lot longer.
