My New Car

I decided that it was in my best interest to get away from anything euro or FI, so I decided to sell the S4 before anything else major went wrong. I got $8,200 out of it, which I am VERY satisfied with for having a few things wrong with it, stock turbos and 135k on it. I decided to stick with domestic for awhile and picked up a 2006 Mustang GT. So far, I don't have any complaints about it. It's all stock except for Bassani mufflers. I just replaced the engine, tranny, and diff fluids today with Mobil 1. The last owner fell asleep at the wheel and ran into a cornfield, that's why the new grills and hood. The driver side front suspension has all new Ford parts from the accident. Everything was put back together right and the car feels tight. I will get a few more shots when I get it cleaned up a little better.

hell yeah dude, those things are a lot of fun to drive, and the noise alone is enough to keep me happy.

A good suPer wide set of wheels will make that hood and front tie in nicely. Without it the car looks front heavy with mods. Looks super clean though. Get some ccw classics son!

newer car with minimal issues is always greater than an older car with countless problems.

Thanks guys. I really like it a lot. It's a much better daily than the S for sure, for a college kid at least. I don't have to worry about it breaking down all the time and expensive parts. and I don't have to deal with D-Pat anymore, which is a huge plus. It is more fun to drive than the S just for the fact its a 5 speed.

Wheels might be awhile yet, but I will be getting some Ford Racing springs from.... solodog *gasp*... lol. He hooking me up with some brand new ones for $150 AND he will help me install them. I can't pass that up. Boosted from TSC said he can get me a Hurst shifter cheap, so that may be in the near future.

Here's my first mod to the car, I didn't like the silver mesh too much.

That was a smart move changing that shit. Looks 5100bajillion times better now. The shiny billet grille shit belongs on 80s chevy trucks and even then it looks gaudy.

you should put some tinted lamin-x on those fogs (if thats what they are in the grille) just smoke them to help them blend in a bit.

I haven't even thought about gears yet. and as far as the tint goes, I thought about tinting the head lights and leaving the fogs how they are. I'd like to do two graphite grey stripes down the center

Well if you ever get around to it, I'd suggest 4.10s since it's an automatic. Anything less and you probably won't really be able to tell a difference.
