My New Car

the S was a 5 speed auto, the gt a 5 speed manual. and it has 3.55's in it now, stock
your garage looks legit as fuck. JD banner, darts, pool, stereo, a motorcycle, weights... what more could a man need?

Purchased these Sunday evening and they showed up today already. 4 rotors and pads for 300 shipped. I know I could get better performance with blanks and a good pad, but what the hell. These pads are "comparable" to hawks. Also ordered a set of Strano adjustable end links.  smug It's all going on Thursday afternoon.



It's sad, but I forgot it was an 06 for awhile, I just always kept thinking 05 for some reason.

How big are the stock rotors? It looks good. Feel any difference?
Believe 12.42" for the front. I can't tell much of any difference. The reason I changed  was because the rears were gone. The fronts were in great shape. They didn't need replaced, but I did all of em. I think I still have a problem with the rear. I think they're grabbing still. I don't know if it's starting to seize. The rotor is scorching hot when not even braking. None of the others are bad. I need to take it off and look at it.
Got my new calipers on n hit em with some black caliper paint.

It looks great man.  Hopefully your caliper paint stays put.  My brothers gt would not hold paint despite all our efforts and prep. We ended up painting them like 4 times. Water pressure from a hose would send it flying.

Ebrake cables are good. Me and the redheaddude Checked em. I didnt notice anything wromg with them when i took the calipers off today either. So far, they arent scorching hot anymore when I drive it. Problem solved hopefully.

Just Installed my cai and tune this morning.

I hear that makes quite a difference on stangs, when compared to the minimal gains on other cars.  Looks great!
There is a video on Americanmuscle.com with this exact same cai and tune and it made +27 Hp and +17 lbft torque. But the change in throttle response justifies this alone. It's an absolute night and day difference. There's no more dead spots in the peddle.

However, they did fuck up my tune. When you push the clutch in, the car rpms drop to 500 and then completely stalls. At every stoplight.

Ouch.  Hopefully they get you a new tune with the quickness.  That shit would get old fast.
