My new chick car!

Just got back from a long ass trip to knoxville to go pick her up.  She's a '95, 84k miles, 1 owner, and garage kept.  I have all service records with her, including gas tank fill ups!  So far she's a blast to drive!   wooooo

I'll get more pics up once she's all prettied up over thanksgiving weekend.

95 with steelies? Odd, I didn't even think the base models came with those after 92.

Let me know if you need a hand with anything, or if you need any motor parts. I've had 1 or 2 of those motors apart. wink

he gave me the story on the wheels.  this is the second one he had ordered in '95, as the paint had issues on the first.  the dealership threw these in with a new miata just for the trouble with the first one.  and actually, i fit in it just fine.  lots of leg room, but there's no way i'd pass the broomstick test.  i'm gonna see about getting rid of some of the seat coushin to alleviate that until some new seats come along.  after unscrewing the visors on the trip back, i was actually quite comfortable, and had plenty of visibility.  apparently, hard tops help in that department too.   toot

After driving her for quite a few miles now, there are a few things that have sprung to the top of the to do list.  first was clearing up some much needed leg room.  working the clutch, especially with size 13 steeltoes was. . . .tricky.



aluminum stock and a section of dog leash ftw!

next on the to do list is removing some of the seat coushin to drop me down a little more this weekend.  pictures aren't really necessary for that part of the job.  and last but not least, i cannot heel/toe in this car at all.  gas pedal extension is a must to move it a bit closer to the brake!  that should be on the way real soon.

You can't heel toe it? I did it all the time in both of my mom's. Maybe I'm just too used to sloppy econoboxes.

Due to the size of my feet, im guessing i do it different than most people.  We will compare someday.
