Anyone else ready to go riding?

Has it rained much this week?  I was thinking of running out to Scales tomorrow.

It rained pretty steadily most of yesterday. That and all the snow melting last week probably made the trails very muddy.

If you like mud, it would probably be great.

I can't even step into my backyard without sinking.

Not to mention the huge wind storm that has probably taken down even more limbs.

Pretty sure it will be soggy as fuck until late March or even April.

Well it hasn't rained in a while and it's supposed to be dry the rest of the week.  If the forecast for Saturday/Sunday warms up would anyone entertain the idea of going to Scales?  wooooo

Come to my house,  walk in the soft turf that is my backyard and ask yourself if the dirt trails in the forest will be dry.

There is also 70% chance of thunderstorms tonight and tomorrow.

I will go downtown on Saturday though,  still need to hoof it out to Mt Vernon sometime soon to drop my whip off at Dan's to get shit fixed so I can ride on dirt.

Fuck that bullshit.  If it sprinkles for an hour it won't be bad.  Most of the trails out at Scales are up on ridges or hillsides so they should dry out a bit faster.  We shall see, I guess.  I'd be down to go downtown Saturday if it rains more though.

So I rode for less than an hour yesterday and now my body feels like I jumped in front of a dumptruck. I hope it stays this warm so i don't experience this any more this year.
