That's from New World Disorder 3....I used to have the whole video before I lost it to a hard drive failure.

I'd really like to get some of those videos you showed us Saturday .. can you give me some titles so I can legally purchase them on digital versatile disc?

These are probably my favorites.  The do amazing camera work and the films are shot from an artful perspective.  They also have a lot of commentary from the riders.

New World Disorder 6 - Unchained
New World Disorder 7 - Flying High Again
New World Disorder 8 - Smack Down (this is the one you and Marc were watching)

The Disorder series has been around for a while and they make really good films.  Mostly big-mountain freeriding with some urban/dirt jumping mixed in.  Lots of cliff drops.

These are mostly coverage of World Cup events like Downhill and 4X with some other clips mixed in.  They're actually really interesting to watch and it's amazing to watch pros doing what they do.

North Shore Extreme 9

This series appears to be from a small production company but they have some big-name pros like Richie Schley and Wade Simmons, along with some really good local riders.  Obviously, the focus in on North Shore riding.

Chainsmoke 2

Like Disorder/Kranked.  This one is a bit dated now.

So that's my collection.  I usually grab new videos whenever I can find them.

That reminds me.  There is a kid that rides his unicycle around USI.  Sometimes I want to push him over when I see him slow down and struggle to keep his balance while riding through campus.  It's kind of neat, but he could go just as fast if he walked.  I guess the more practice the better though.

Does he look like Balki from Perfect Strangers? If so, I might know who that is.

This is kinda neat because it's in Kansas.  If they can build cool stuff like this in the flattest place on Earth, there is hope for Angel Mounds.

It would take a while to build up courage/skill for the bigger jumps, but I think I'd be game for most of that stuff.  I just wish we had some mountains around here.  Paoli needs an MTB Park.

Sorry, that was a bit harsh. I'm in a  bit of a mood lately. I'm still recouperating (sp?) from my trip to NJ last week.

But anyway...
Awesome vids. I'll have to sit and watch them all when I'm at home tonight. Just watched most of the first one (Hooray for Dirwalis' song Disco Science!), and part of the 2nd. Awesome awesome awesome stuff.

Okay, wow, just watched them all. Very awesome stuff there! That "Too Tight" vid was insane! I don't see how they did that shit without ramming the trees.

Nathan, my god. Have you seen Earthed 3: Europa? This kid Chris Akrigg does some stuff on a rigid  bike that blew me away. He might be better than the great Lenosky.

I don't have Earthed 3.  I'll have to get that from you.

I watched some YouTube videos of Chris Akrigg and he's pretty damn good.  I don't like to say "this rider is better than that one".  I'd say they're on the same level, which is much higher than I'm ever gonna get.

Locking thread because video mega-threads just don't work out well. Besides, we can deal with lots of new threads. In fact, we need them. Thank you for your understanding. I will add in a feature to narrow threads by type (Video, Event, Tech, etc.) if it really gets that hard to find what you want.
