Giant Trance X1
I've had it for a few weeks, but finally got a chance to ride it for the 1st time last week at Harmonie. Overall I'm pretty happy with it out of the box. The only thing I've changed so far is the seat, which is nowhere near comfortable. I may change the bars too because they feel too flat compared to my old Hell Bent bars. I'm going to ride them a couple more times to see if I can get used to them.

Thanks for upping the Giant contingent of this area. Not enough of them around. Too many damn Specialized bros.

Your Maestro Style is strong, but my FSR Style will defeat you.

Not top secret, just too lazy to post about it.

I just want to point out that I totally called it and that you're all jealous of how fucking awesome I am.

My guess for serious: Yeti 575 or Giant Trance X.

Have you weighed it yet?

Yes, but I forget exactly what it was. 26-27 lbs I think.

I've learned from MTBR that if your bike weighs less than 30 lbs you will not be able to jump it without tacoing your wheels and exploding your frame. SMART INVESTMENT WEIGHT WEENIE
My Reign is coming in at about 33-34 right now, which means I can huck it off the Grand Canyon and will survive completely intact with nary a scratch.

That's because your handlebars act like pterodactyl wings and will glide you to safety.

The Book of MTBR teaches that wide handlebars are holy, and that narrow handlebars are the dominion of evil. I consider myself a student of jebus, whereas the rest of you are satanfags.

My bike is probably somewhere in the 38-40lbs range. However, in terms of body weight to bike weight ratio, I've probably got the lightest bike of anyone here.

Just got some Specialized Eskar tires today, so I'll be converting to tubeless tonight after work. Guess I'll find out what all the hype is about on tomorrow's ride.

The Cross Max wheels are already UST and come with extra valve stems to convert from tubes.

I've been thinking about using bmx tubes to go ghetto tubeless, let me know what you think about them. Are you running low pressure or same as normal?

I was running 30psi at Harmonie with no problems. So far I'm pretty happy with them.
