Weather was looking too iffy so I stayed home.  Hopefully we get a little rain to firm the trails up.  It's getting dusty out there.

We had a decent ride out at angel mounds tonight.  It wasn't muddy,  but just soft enough that it felt like your tires were a bit low.

Jerry seems to be hard at work,  he cleared a new small loop just west of the first part of the loop on the south side.  The bridge in the newer middle section is coming along nicely as well.


Going to head out there right after work tommorow.  Should be there around 5:30 or so.

Should be getting the specialized back today  . Packed my car with everything necessary to head to angel mounds right after work. I really hope it gets finished because its going to take awhile for my ass and watergun to recoup from a hardtail.

Anyone going to angel mounds this evening?  There was another delay on my bike getting fixed (they forgot to order the part), but I have my fingers crossed that it will be done this afternoon.

I might try to sneak out there for a little while.  I still have this damn cold but maybe riding will help.

Does anyone know WTF they're doing out by the levee?  They clear-cut an area about 50ft wide all the way down Pollack and now parts of the trail are almost out in the open.  Maybe they're making a Shittin' Meadow for all the savages and their landmine-laying dogs.

Anyway, someone worked on the trails some more.  Some of the trees we left down on purpose have been removed, which kinda sucks, but a lot of leftover debris has been cleaned up.

I'm just getting over a head cold and the amount of shit I coughed up after riding 2 laps non-stop was astonishing.  My chest feels much clearer now though.
