I don't know why it automatically creates a thread when you add something to the calendar.  Maybe I'm doing it wrong.

Dan?

I'll be there unless I can not wake up that early.  Is there plenty of parking at that gravel lot if it's like 5-6 of us driving?
Probably not much more than 6 ..
Are we just riding or trail maintenancing or building?

Get to test out my new Ergons and Camelbak M.U.L.E., woot woot.  GO BACK TO MY HOUSE WE'RE PLAYING WII ALL NI--BLARGH
I just plan on riding.
So who's coming?

I'm sooooooo ready to ride! It's been one hell of a week!  slick

(we need some bicycling smilies...do those exist?)
You know I'm going to be there.  I agree.  This week has  leech

I'll be there.  I already set my phone alarm to wake me up so I can get ready.  I rode 28 miles on Wednesday(11 at Scales, 17 road), and it made me want to ride even more.  If the Bob Dylan concert wasn't Sunday, I'd probably go to Scales again then.  Time is running down on my summer, so I'm trying to get as much riding in as possible.

I need to go back out to Scales.  I haven't been there in 2 weeks and it feels like years.  I think two of the guys I work with are going to make it out to Angel Mounds tomorrow so we should have a good sized group.  toot

This too:

I'll see you fuckers in 9 hours!  true american hero
Pretty good ride guys. I had a good time.

I'm strongly contemplating getting some wider tires. The 2.2s on my bike are decent but I feel like roots and ruts keep knocking me off balance, 2.35 or 2.5 might be more stable.

No, the reason you were off balance is because you suck.  And your clip-ins are gay.

On another note, I feel like I have been obliterated.  Very good ride/maintenance day.

Good times indeed.
Felt like a puss though since I didn't ride as much/as hard as I feel I usually do.
It got pretty hot toward the end and that really sapped a bunch of my endurance.

I have 2.3s on my bike and 2.4s on the bike Marc was riding.  I'm not sure if wider tires would be any more stable, but they would give you a larger contact patch.  The downside is that the wider you go the more rolling resistance and weight you have.

I had a good time today though.  Still not sure what's wrong with my fork but I talked to Frank and the guys at Dan's are going to look at it for me.  I also checked my warranty and the fork is covered for 2 years.  I'm well within the rules of the warranty so I should be okay.

He should really look at tread placement and design too.
