Nathan and I rode a bit out at Angel Mounds tonight .. someone cleared off all the trees on the north trail, and a good bit of them on the south trail. There are about 4-5 left but they will probably be gone by Saturday they way things are going.

As I posted in the Scales thread, we got quite a bit of trail maintenance done today. There are only two trees still down but they're going to require a chainsaw and possibly a vehicle to tow them out of the way.
Someone took a grader or something and cleared out another trail out there. It's next to the intersection next to the chain link fence that goes out into the main part of the park. Instead of going the usual left-right at the intersection, you can just take a right now and it drops you back out right up the hill from the bridge. Hooray for more trails.

Yeah decent maintenance day and the ride wasn't terrible but overall this day is still a whiff.
Fucking Scales.

Anyone want to guess what I have in the back of my car right now? I'll give you a hint: it's a chainsaw.
Who is up for some trail maintenance tomorrow?

Alright, I'm going to be at Angel Mounds tomorrow at 9am or thereabouts. I may be riding, I may be trail maintenancing. Right now I think I want to ride in the morning then come back later and saw some trees.
If anyone is interested post up.

I could probably stand to go out there in the afternoon. I'm sleeping in tomorrow though, so I won't be out there early.

I guess I'm just going to ride Garvin Park this morning. I don't want to lug my shit all the way to AM to ride alone. I'm down for going out there to do trail maintenance (no riding) any time this afternoon.
BLUHHHHHH way too chilly/windy/about-to-rainy out this morning, my ride was short and lame.

Who is up for a more leisurely ride tomorrow morning at Angel Mounds? Say around 9:30-10 so I can sleep in a little?
Fuck, Angel Mounds is going to seem like the fucking Greenway after riding Scales today.

Alright, well since there's no response I assume that none of you are men.
I plan on riding Angel Mounds tomorrow morning, somewhere around 9:30ish.

Alright, well since you all [pick one: had sand in your vaginas/were laundering your sports bras/hadn't put the training wheels on your bikes yet], I rode by myself. My leisurely ride turned into 12.5 miles. If I hadn't gotten a flat right at the end I probably could've gone 15, but I didn't want to pump my tire up more than once.
OH HEY LOOK WHAT I FOUND
Too bad you guys couldn't come out, it was really beautiful out today!

Me and a bud were out at angel mounds Sunday evening, but didn't notice the bridge that you took a picture of. I assume it's on the "thumb" trail that cuts a little bit off of the southernmost trail?
