How do I know if I'm going more than 12 mph? It sounds like a pretty somber ride.
Sounds like a neat idea, but will you guys be doing some Critical Mass lane clogging or anything?
It not a rockin' balls to the wall ride... Just a ride of Silence, somber, sad, remembering those who have been killed and those of us who are alive and have made it out unscathed so far. Black armbands for everyone, and black for those whove been attacked/ injured by a motorist or other individual...

Not like critical mass.... 2 abreast, road legal... obeying the rules of the road. Cut and dry really.

the no faster than 12,is subject to no faster than the 6 year old on his 20inch too....
What about a 24 year old on a 20 inch? I feel hated upon...  HURRRRawww

sorry- I mean if a 6 year old shows up to ride.. we ride at his pace. I'd ride my redline but I've got to look all official and shizzy.

I've been trying to learn the manual, and brought my 20 to work tonight, and smashed my face into an ambulance inside the bay. sweet.
Lulz. Manuals are easy when you get the hang of them. Lean back and keep your knees bent. It'll seem like you're humping your bike trying to keep your balance.  octopus at a boner buffet

I'll probably attend, tomorrow evening right?
guess I need to work on my hump skills. lol

Right- the Ride of Silence is 5/20/09 Wenesday at 7pm.... Meet on the south end of the Civic Center, on locust between MLK and Se 9th st.

There will be 4 EMA bike team members in the black uniforms... I'll be one of them.... we'll get there round about 630-640pm, ride at 7pm.

I didn;t try to put this out to the media or anything like that, due to liability, and the potential for permit requirements... Maybe next year I'll sep it up a notch.

Again- take a old t shirt, red if you'be been injured or harassed by a motorist, black for everyone else.

Thanks for thinking about it, and hope to see you out. -If you are interested the EMA team is going to Harmonie Wednesday at 230pm, and I'm going again thursday am to do some work and ride a loop. all are welcome to tag along or meet up.

call any time- Kyle  204.0551
Who else from the forums is going, lets have a presence and maybe we can go bomb around for a bit after the ride.

I actually talked to a friend yesterday and tomorrow when I get off work I think we're driving out to Harmonie, I have not ridden there yet so maybe I'll see you out there.
I'll be driving Saturday, and harassing road bikers on 66.  smug
