Ride of Silence
http://www.rideofsilence.org/main.php What: A 7.5 mile bike ride, in silence, no faster than 12 MPH in honor of cyclists and others killed or injured while cycling on public roadways. The ride, which is being held during Bike Safety Month, aims to raise the awareness of motorists, that cyclists have a legal right to the public roadways. All cyclists are welcome.
When: Wednesday, May 20th 2009
We will leave promptly at 7:00 p.m.. Please arrive early enough to air up tires and participate in a moment of silence before the ride.
Where: Evansville Civic Center 1 NW M L King Blvd Meet at the South end of the Civic Center Campus, on Locust between MLK and SE 9th St
Why Does This Event Exist?

Helmets are MANDATORY
