I've spent way too much time looking at stuff to realize I have no idea what anything is anymore.

Been looking for a decent replacement for my current acer. Still not sure what processors are decent or not. Every review. or guide just says.. " there are multiple processors and speeds to choose from, find what best fits your needs".   Thats what I'm trying to do. whats the point of a guide if it won't tell me that the $400 walmart computer is crap. versus the $500 newegg computer.

I guess I just need to be enlightened.  I've found some good deals.  Don't need a ton of ram. I'm ok with 500gb harddrive and integrated graphics if there is room for upgrades to all later on.  

the big thing is. I don't want to buy something with a junk processor with no room to grow in the next year or so.

Look at my for sale thread. Finish a build with my parts and you're set for awhile. I don't know what the 500 dollar newegg computer is but this would likely be very comparable for at least 100 less.

That is if your looking at desktops.

ok so I bought a computer from best buy.  had the harddrive size I wanted. and was newer. Got a really good deal on it.

Has on board graphics. but looking to upgrade.  Have an intel i3 processor. and upgrading to the max ram.

I have a pci express x16 slot. but not sure what version. 2.0? trying to find the best bang for my buck graphics card.

I don't have a price limit.  I'll be playing a few games. but nothing hardcore.

Yes sir. And you said fuck. Makes it sound even better. I'm gonna find out how I do with stock graphics on bf3. And then go from there. Lol
