I told him everyone of those things that was wrong. That "super sensitive Audi check engine light" is on because the torque converter solenoid is intermittently stuck open. but I guess he didn't know that. He was too busy telling me how he has been looking at a few and researching them and saying how my car wasn't worth what I was asking.
He got a quote from foreign performance on fixing the front driver side cv boot and o2 n egt sensors was going to cost him 1600 and wanted me to come down that much. I flat out told him, if you can't do a little work yourself, then a b5 s4 is not for you.

no matter what the circumstances, dogging you in the for sale listing is no way to get a car sold. i hope he sits on it for a good while.

Lol chris with the silver TC.
I think he will have a little trouble selling the car. I've seen my old car this past weekend in French lick, Wednesday at St. Mary's hospital, and yesterday passing me on the Lloyd.

Re-flashing the ABS will not reset anything on a B5 S4. It needs replaced and take all of about 15minutes to unscrew from the top of the engine bay. Axles are like 75 each plus figure 1.5 hours and you are at 450ish for labor in all reality. However the vibration is more commonly linked to the drive shaft which usually gets worked over from having weak motor mounts. I will say this, $8300 is a lot these days for a B5 S4 that isn't stg3. You cleaned house haha.

yes, yes I did lol. I explained all of it to him. Foreign Performance also just said it would need to be flashed. Coming from the same people that installed my h&r springs upside down.
